<p>Overview</p> <p>Consider joining MX Holdings as a Senior FP&A Analyst at our St. Louis, MO location. The Senior FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Analyst plays a critical role in financial decision-making within the company. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Senior FP&A Analyst will support the strategic objectives of the organization by providing quality information and maintaining efficient and effective financial reporting. This position will provide analysis to ensure effective decision making and a clear picture of what is driving performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Financial Planning & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-term strategic planning using historical data, market trends, and operational metrics. </li><li>Budgeting & Performance Analysis: Support annual budgeting with department leaders; monitor results vs. budget, analyze variances, and explain drivers of performance. </li><li>Management Reporting: Produce regular and ad hoc reports for senior leadership, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. </li><li>Strategic & Investment Analysis: Build financial models to assess profitability, pricing, capital allocation, M&A, and other strategic initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. </li><li>Business Partnering: Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR) to provide financial insights and act as a trusted advisor driving performance improvement. </li><li>Process Improvement & AI Enablement: Streamline FP&A processes and leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance forecasting, variance analysis, reporting efficiency, and decision support with proper governance. </li><li>Risk & Compliance: Assess financial risks (e.g., credit, interest rate, currency) and ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC, and audit requirements. </li><li>Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior FP&A team members through training, guidance, and ongoing support. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Ideal Candidate Will Have:</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field </li><li>Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or MBA (Master of Business Administration) will be advantageous </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Three to five years of experience in financial analysis and planning </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail </li><li>Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, financial modeling) </li><li>Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, FP&A software) </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative and effective business partner </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorships are not available </li><li>Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and assessment. </li><li>Must be able to work on-site in our St. Louis, MO office </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Perks of the Job</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental and vision insurance </li><li>Disability and life insurance </li><li>401(k) with matching contribution </li><li>Generous allotment of paid vacation and paid holidays </li><li>Enterprise-wide winter break between Christmas and New Year's holidays </li><li>Competitive wages plus performance-based bonus opportunities </li><li>Ongoing training and professional development </li><li>Ample opportunity for career growth and advancement </li><li>Paid time off for all new parents </li></ul> <p>Why Our People Love Working Here</p> <ul> <li>Purpose-driven, friendly, open, and respectful culture </li><li>Highly engaged workforce - as indicated by best-in-class engagement scores </li><li>NEW FOR 2026!
