<p>High School STEM Teacher - Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Career Pathway Location: Delta High School Position Type: Full-Time Application Deadline: Friday, March 21 , 2025</p> <p>Are you passionate about Inspiring the next generation of engineers, technicians, and innovators? Do you thrive in a hands-on learning environment where students explore real-world applications of STEM? We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated STEM Teacher to lead our new Innovative, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction Career Pathway at Delta High School.</p> <p>About the Role: This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow an Innovative career pathway for students interested in engineering, manufacturing, and construction. The successful candidate will teach a semester-long introductory course in Pre-Engineering Technologies, followed by specialized core classes, including:</p> <p>Engineering Principles Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones) Mechanical* Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Manufacturing Operations</p> <p>Other courses possible with student and teacher interests (ex. Robotics). Beyond the classroom, this role involves program development student recruitment, and Industry collaboration. The Ideal candidate will work closely with local businesses to establish pre-apprenticeship opportunities for seniors ensuring our graduates are career-ready.</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>A self-starter who can build and promote a new career pathway program Passion for STEM education and hands-on learning Ability to engage and inspire students to explore technical careers Strong networking skills to develop industry partnerships Experience or knowledge in engineering, manufacturing, construction is a plus</p> <p>Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in STEM education, Engineering, Science Education or a related field (CTE certification preferred or willingness to obtain)</p> <p>Teaching experience or industry background in engineering, manufacturing, construction or a related technical field</p> <p>Strong project-based learning approach and ability to integrate real-world applications</p> <p>Why Join Us?
