<p>Description</p> <p>$500 Sign On Bonus (External Hires Only)</p> <p>Title: Medical Practice Patient Representative (Clerical Office Assistant) - NHMP Danbury Gastroenterology/Digestive Health - Danbury, CT. Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts between 8:45am - 5:15pm, Monday - Friday.</p> <p>This position will work out of the Danbury office until approximately September/October 2025, then employees with work out of the Ridgefield office with potential for hybrid remote work in the future.</p> <p>Summary: Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for physician practice.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs reception of customers and communicates pleasantly and effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Answers phones, routes calls, take messages, conveys information, and assures accurate communication.</p> </li><li> <p>Registers, verifies and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.</p> </li><li> <p>Reschedules cancelled, no show, tickler appointments.</p> </li><li> <p>Processes record requests, including the copying, billing, charging and recording.</p> </li><li> <p>Collects co-pays and reconciles moneys for deposit.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes audits as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation and correspondence via eFax.</p> </li><li> <p>Presents a professional appearance and image.</p> </li><li> <p>Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Education Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent • 1 year customer related experience required • Preferred: 1+ years of healthcare experience</p> <p>Pay Rate: $17.72 - $33.48 (Pay per years of relative experience)</p> <p>EOE, including disability/vets.</p> <p>Share: Share with Email Share on Twittershare to twitter Share on Facebookshare to facebook Share on LinkedInshare to linkedin</p>
