<p>Job#: 3023849</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Description: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2</p> <ul> <li>Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. </li><li>Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision. </li><li>Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities). </li><li>Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. </li><li>Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity. </li><li>Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process. </li><li>Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. </li><li>Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks </li><li>Required: High School Diploma AND 1+ year(s) experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or related field. </li><li>Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). </li><li>Preferred: Previous datacenter experience </li></ul> <p>Six (6) resources will be working A-side day shift, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday.</p> <p>Six (6) resources will be working B-side day shift, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.</p> <p>Supplier Provided Windows 11 compatible Laptop WILL BE required.</p> <p>Supplier-Provided PPE required:</p> <p>Feet: Lace-up steel or composite toe-boots which cover the ankle, has a slip resistant sole, and meets specifications set-forth in the American Society of Testing Material (ASTM) International Standard F2413-05, Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear.</p> <p>Head: (PPE) Head: Type 2, ANSI Z89 approved Hard Hat or Helmet</p> <p>Eyes: ANSI, CE, or EN approved Safety Glasses with side shields</p> <p>Hands: Level 5 cut/abrasion/impact- resistant gloves</p> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
