Join us to empower clients to become strategic business partners, manage risk, and unlock new levels of financial and operational excellence.</p> <p>Recruiting for this role ends on 12/31/25.</p> <p>Work You'll Do</p> <p>Our mission is to help clients modernize their full suite of end-to-end Finance functions, including Procure to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report processes, with the goal to enhance financial and operational performance, manage financial and audit risks, drive organizational change, and become strategic business partners within their organizations.</p> <p>As a Consultant in Operational Finance Transformation, you will work as part of a team to help clients improve their Finance business operations and achieve their strategic goals. You will support the identification, analysis, and implementation of business and technology solutions that drive operational effectiveness and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, analyzing data, preparing presentations, assisting with Requests for Proposal (RFPs), project deliverables, and contributing to the evolution of Deloitte's Operational Finance offerings. Key areas of focus include:</p> <ul> <li>Project Support </li><li>Process Analysis and Improvement </li><li>Operating Model and Governance </li><li>Technology and Innovation (including Generative AI) </li><li>Stakeholder Engagement </li><li>Change Management </li></ul> <p>The Team</p> <p>Our Global Business Services (GBS) Operational Finance team transforms Finance from a traditional function into a dynamic, value-driving capability. As finance cycles converge, we partner with clients to advise, implement, and operate best-in-class solutions across end-to-end processes. By leveraging deep industry insights and innovative approaches, we accelerate business insights and enable Finance to become a strategic partner within the organization.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline </li><li>2+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in business operations, shared services, process improvement, or a related field </li><li>Demonstrated experience supporting project teams in the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes or operating models </li><li>Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling </li><li>Experience preparing client-ready presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint </li><li>Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights </li><li>Exposure to technology-enabled business transformation, including workflow platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce), automation, or digital solutions </li><li>Understanding of or exposure to process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and change management concepts </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future </li><li>Ability to travel 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sector you serve </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams </li><li>Experience with shared services, outsourcing, or back-office functional optimization projects </li><li>Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or artificial intelligence applications in business operations </li><li>Exposure to governance frameworks or operating model design </li><li>Experience supporting change management initiatives, including communications and training </li><li>Certification or coursework in project management, process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), or change management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) </li></ul> <p>The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
