These values - integrity, patient-centered, respect, accountability, and compassion - must guide what we do, as individuals and professionals, every day.</p> <p>Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at Greenwich Hospital is seeking to employ a full-time clinical psychologist with specialties in evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety and eating-related disorders. Psychiatry & Behavioral Health includes ambulatory programming comprising routine outpatient services for the management of a spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including, but not limited to, depressive, anxiety, trauma-related, and substance use disorders. The clinical psychologist will provide evidence-based and solution-focused treatments related to mood and anxiety disorders, as well as perform pre-bariatric surgery evaluations.</p> <p>EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <ol> <li>Conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="2"> <li>Provision of individual and group behavioral interventions </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="3"> <li>Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="4"> <li>Collection of outcome data related to clinical care </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="5"> <li>Engagement in community outreach </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="6"> <li>Participation in departmental meetings and activities </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="7"> <li>Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="8"> <li>Maintaining charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures </li></ol> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology psychology from an APA-approved graduate program.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Individuals trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT); who embrace a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating psychiatric illness; have experience in obesity medicine; and are committed to program development are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>LICENSURE</p> <p>All candidates must be license-eligible in the State of Connecticut.</p> <p>SPECIAL SKILLS</p> <p>Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, as well as cultural competency working with diverse cultures and communities</p> <p>YNHHS Requisition ID</p> <p>147543</p>
