The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your engineering career with a collaborative and innovative team.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Project Design and Development: Prepare designs, technical specifications, and construction drawings for water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities. </li><li>Hydraulic Modeling and Analysis: Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to optimize system performance and capacity. </li><li>Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements. </li><li>Assist municipalities and utilities with meeting NJDEP compliance requirements related to drinking water and wastewater regulations, including permitting, reporting, and infrastructure planning. </li><li>Construction Support: Provide engineering support during construction, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits. </li><li>Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, surveyors, and environmental scientists, to deliver high-quality solutions. </li><li>Maintain and develop strong client relationships by serving as a point of contact, understanding client goals and ensuring satisfaction throughout projects. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline. </li><li>Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, including design and project management. </li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS). </li><li>Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required. </li><li>Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and presentations. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>CME offers a competitive compensation package including: medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, educational assistance program and paid time off.</p>
