Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and student engagement. Marian University is an institution that values innovative teaching, advising and mentoring.</p> <p>Teaching responsibilities include teaching in-person and hybrid graduate nursing courses at our Fond du Lac, WI campus. Candidates should exhibit skill and enthusiasm in teaching. The courses are part of our Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program and are designed to provide students with advanced theoretical knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the field of nursing.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging and informative lectures that align with the course curriculum. </li><li>Facilitate in-person class sessions. </li><li>Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction. </li><li>Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and class participation. </li><li>Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to support their academic growth. </li><li>Maintain open communication with students and be available for academic consultations and advising as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with fellow instructors and course coordinators to ensure course success. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a Master's degree in Nursing or related field. </li><li>Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. </li><li>Prior teaching experience in an academic setting. </li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. </li><li>All candidates must have authorization to work in the United States. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with hybrid and online teaching. </li></ul> <p>Application Requirements: Please submit a letter of interest, resume/CV, unofficial transcripts, and name, address and telephone number of three references to muapplicants@marianuniversity.edu.
