The outside sales representative's job entails selling and/or introducing the company to both new and established clients. Quoting customers and taking orders from customers. Duties involve entering, tracking and following up on orders. Most important is building relationships with current and prospective customers.</p> <p>Our company offers great benefits, from tuition reimbursement to training and development opportunities. Come join our team!</p> <p>Compensation: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 +Commission</p> <p>Contact: jeanine.moore@sss-steel.com</p> <p>Position Closes: 08/28/2025</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining and expanding customer database. </li><li>Attending sales group meetings. </li><li>Capturing accurate and complete information in customer relationship management. </li><li>Assisting our Inside Sales Team in quoting and handling order execution from acceptance to completion. </li><li>Communicating with customers regarding current relative market information and capturing relative feedback. </li><li>Obtain and provide feedback on Competitor pricing/equipment to Management. </li><li>Establish creditable relationships with new customers and maintain ongoing relationships with existing customer base. </li><li>Attend face to face meetings with clients on a daily basis. This is pertinent to the job. </li><li>Manage a database of potential customers and contact them on a regular basis for new opportunities. </li><li>Team with Inside Sales Rep to build a pipeline of opportunities and close sales. </li><li>Make Outbound Sales calls to prospect new customers. </li><li>Note suggestions or complaints and communicate to the Quality/Operations group. </li><li>Utilize CRM Software to keep track of important customer 'touches. </li><li>Support the Quality System of the Company. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University. </li><li>Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proficient level of computer skills in typing, number key, Word, Excel and Outlook. </li><li>Able to work in a team environment. </li><li>Exceptional communication skills. </li><li>Problem solving and creative thinking. </li><li>Ability to visit customers in person daily. </li></ul>
