This role combines hands-on machine operation, technical expertise, and leadership to drive high standards in quality and production.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Promote a positive and respectful team culture grounded in cooperation and mutual support. </li><li>Operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines (pipe cutter, structural cutter, clipper) with precision and safety. </li><li>Oversee daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to production schedules. </li><li>Collaborate with Project Foreman and maintenance teams to resolve mechanical and production issues. </li><li>Track inventory and managing tool and equipment usage. </li><li>Provide hands-on leadership for CNC operations while mentoring fellow tradespeople. </li><li>Act as a resource and go-to person for technical troubleshooting, training, and guidance. </li><li>Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. </li></ul> <p>Summary of Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>CNC machine operation experience preferred but not required, willing to train and invest in employees. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to be part of a team. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills. </li><li>Interest and ability to learn, practice and teach Lean principles and values. </li><li>Ability to multi-task. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate and teach other employees the safe operation of tools, equipment and material handling practices. </li><li>Proven communication skills. </li><li>Stand, kneel, crouch and lift for extended periods of time. </li><li>Work at elevated heights, confined spaces and in a fabrication shop environment. </li></ul> <p>Direct Reports</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul>
