This posting allows interested applicants to submit credentials for consideration in any academic discipline, even if no current opening exists in their specific field.</p> <p>By applying to this open pool, your application will remain active and available to hiring departments as teaching needs arise in future semesters.</p> <p>Potential Teaching Areas Include:</p> <ul> <li>Humanities & English </li><li>Social Sciences & Psychology </li><li>Business, Accounting & Economics </li><li>Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) </li><li>Health Sciences & Nursing </li><li>Visual, Performing & Fine Arts </li><li>Computer Science & Information Technology </li><li>Criminal Justice & Legal Studies </li><li>Additional specialized disciplines </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in the subject area or a closely related field (Doctorate preferred for some disciplines) </li><li>Prior teaching experience, preferably at the college level </li><li>Expertise in subject matter </li><li>Strong communication and instructional skills </li><li>Commitment to student success and fostering an inclusive learning environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with online and hybrid learning platforms such as Canvas </li><li>Professional or industry-specific experience relevant to the teaching discipline </li><li>Ability to teach evening classes in a remote or face-to-face classroom environment. </li><li>Ability to use technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning, including Microsoft Suite programs. </li><li>Ability to schedule office hours for student appointments. </li></ul> <p>This is a rolling pool; applications will be reviewed as departmental needs arise. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred.
