Bechtel's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.</p> <p>A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. We use our expertise to help our customers securely and effectively transform mission delivery.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>In this role, you will support Mechanical Engineers in developing engineering design drawings for plumbing, fire protection, diesel, and HVAC systems.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities:</p> <p>Prepare 2-D CAD intelligent Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) based on sketches and marked-up prints.</p> <p>Review drawings and documents prepared by others to ensure incorporation of drafting standards, procedures, discipline standards, and other national standards, as required.</p> <p>Identify and recommend solutions to conflicts in the design and mark-ups.</p> <p>Mentor Mechanical designers and drafters by providing appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development</p> <p>Responsible for data integrity of components list.</p> <p>Execute schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.</p> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <p>Level 1: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience</p> <p>Level 2: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience</p> <p>Must be a US citizen.</p> <p>Required Knowledge and Skills:</p> <p>Proficient in using Microsoft Office software.</p> <p>Prior experience with industry-wide design/drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, PDS2D, PDS3D, Smartplant P&ID and their component databases.</p> <p>Experience working in a project team environment to resolve issues and improve processes.</p> <p>Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and organizational skills.</p> <p>Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug and background check, which includes verification of employment and education.</p> <p>Experience in working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME NQA-1, or AS9100D.</p> <p>Possess active security clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance.</p> <p>The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $155,000; however, Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.</p> <p>Note: This job description describes the general nature of the duties and requirements of the job.
