This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with limited industry experience to gain valuable knowledge and expertise in a supportive environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Utilize AutoCAD 3D for drafting and design tasks. </li><li>Create and translate AutoCAD drawings from sketches, hand drawings, and verbal instructions. </li><li>Focus primarily on warehouse layouts and storage rack systems for a material handling company. </li><li>Manage approximately 15 projects concurrently, with project durations ranging from 1 week to 2 months. </li><li>Ensure timely completion of projects with a strong sense of urgency around project timelines. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D. </li><li>3+ years of experience in drafting or design. </li><li>Ability to translate sketches and verbal instructions into detailed AutoCAD drawings. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Autodesk architecture or Inventor is a bonus. </li><li>An Associate's degree in a relevant field. </li><li>Experience in design layouts. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment primarily involves working with AutoCAD, with 90% of the time spent on AutoCAD Architecture and 10% on AutoCAD Inventor. Employees are expected to have a strong sense of urgency regarding project timelines.</p> <p>The team largely consists of individuals with an architectural building background.
