<p>Department</p> <p>Physical Therapy</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The physical therapist assistant functions under the supervision of a physical therapist to provide patient care and support activities, as outlined in the patient plan of care and according to the Federal and State guidelines.</p> <p>Our LPTA's provide 1-on-1 therapy as well as closely work with clinical specialists to provide quality care to our patients.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Require current State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Prefer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.</p> <p>Mandatory Education</p> <p>AS: Associate of Science</p> <p>Required License and Certs</p> <p>PTA: Physical Therapy Assistant</p> <p>Preferred License and Certs</p> <p>BLS: Basic Life Support</p> <p>This Per Diem Plan 1 position pays $33.00 hourly.</p> <p>Employment Screening Requirements</p> <p>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p>
