<p>OVERVIEW: The Yacht Service/Maintenance Technician provides service and maintenance as needed to the new and used yacht inventory. This position includes general of "crew" type maintenance through a planned maintenance systems designed to maintain the product on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and providing a maintenance log to the new owner.</p> <p>KEY TASKS:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct the necessary maintenance checks and repairs as described in the maintenance program in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Provide proper documentation, such as labor tickets, work order updates including a description of the work performed. </li><li>Communicate with the service advisors and/or parts department to obtain necessary parts and supplies timely. </li><li>Notify service advisors when repairs beyond the scope of this position are necessary and follow-up on completion </li><li>Update vessel maintenance logs upon completion of service </li><li>Available to work additional hours when necessary </li><li>Travel to additional locations when necessary to maintain inventory </li><li>Maintain vehicle log and ensure cleanliness </li><li>Project a knowledgeable and professional image at all times </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>KEY RESULT AREAS:</p> <ul> <li>Customer Satisfaction/FANS </li><li>Presentable and deliverable product </li><li>Zero damage </li><li>Timely and accurate completion of work </li><li>Timely and accurate paperwork </li><li>MarineMax and its subsidiaries uses E-Verify, an Internet-based system, to confirm the eligibility of all newly hired employees to work in the United States.
