<p>Under general direction of the Production Artist, produce, mount, and deliver signs, displays, banners and flags.</p> <p>Unique Job Requirements</p> <p>Work in a fast-paced sign shop department with many projects with various time lines. Must have strong organizational and communicative skills.</p> <p>Job Tasks</p> <ul> <li>Production of signs, banners and flags. </li><li>Once the artwork is produced by the Artist(s), work under general direction of the Production Artist to produce, print, cut, mount, and/or pickup or deliver signs, displays, banners and flags. </li><li>Working with various mediums including vinyl, architectural sign design, and enamel. </li><li>Maintain production schedules. Manage workflow, assess priorities, track job requests. </li><li>Coordinate and communicate with client on delivery of completed jobs. </li><li>Support marketing and sales areas with special projects. </li><li>Operate scanner, vinyl cutting machine, air brush equipment, cameras and format printer. </li><li>Install signs on occasion. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Training and Experience</p> <p>Strong organizational skills and communicative skills.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to schedule, and produce signs, banners and displays to meet deadlines. </li><li>Ability to listen to instruction and follow direction. </li><li>Ability to handle a number of projects at once with various time lines. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to communicate procedures clearly. </li><li>Ability to work as part of a creative team. </li><li>Ability to use special hand tools including: brushes, exacto knives, rules and grommet tools. </li><li>Ability to learn how to operate and use a personnel lift. </li><li>Ability to use standard mechanical scales: 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, etc. </li><li>Ability to follow safety practices including the ability to use a respirator. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. </li><li>Bi-manual dexterity that includes the ability to type accurately on a standard keyboard. </li><li>Able to walk up and down stairs. </li><li>Able to see, read and interpret documents. </li><li>Able to hear normal conversation in person and on the phone. </li><li>Able to climb a 12-foot extension ladder. </li><li>Able to work at heights of up to 60 feet in a man lift basket or on rides with a catwalk. </li></ul> <p>Testing Upon Offer or Hire</p> <p>criminal background check</p> <p>drug screen</p> <p>respirator test</p>
