<p>Description</p> <p>The Dropship Coordinator role is responsible for the coordination of efforts among Operation Managers, Production Supervisors, and Team Leads to ensure the on-time completion of all drop ship orders. The primary duties involve coordinating order processing, ensuring timely delivery of products, and resolving any issues related to customer orders. The individual in this role will work closely with various teams such as production, customer service, and IT to address issues promptly and optimize operational efficiency. They will also track key performance indicators (KPIs), participate in problem-solving activities, and enforce safety protocols in the workplace. The Dropship Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless drop-shipping operations for the plant and maintaining customer satisfaction.</p> <p>POSITION DETAILS</p> <ul> <li>Shift Times: 6:00AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday </li><li>Pay Schedule: Weekly </li></ul> <p>HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others. </li><li>Generate daily production waves/batches using WMS (ASCTrac) to create production Work Orders for daily operations. </li><li>Prepare shipping documents promptly for the production team to ensure smooth operations. </li><li>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with customer orders, escalating to IT, Customer Service, or relevant departments as needed. </li><li>Ensure optimal workload for production operations considering capacity factors, truck availability, and inventory levels (raw materials, covers, corrugated). </li><li>Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to address customer order issues promptly (reshipments, cancellations, general inquiries). </li><li>Assist the production team in correcting errors promptly and follow up with relevant personnel to prevent future errors. </li><li>Provide daily production numbers to Operations Managers, Production Supervisors, and/or Team Leads based on carrier and technology. </li><li>Monitor and track daily KPIs for on-time shipments according to lead times and trade partner agreements. Investigate delays and update the system promptly to reroute orders if necessary. </li><li>Actively participate in problem-solving, functional meetings, and continuous improvement activities with management and peers. </li><li>Attend and provide necessary training sessions. </li><li>Supervise the office environment to ensure proper check-in procedures for drivers, visitors, and vendors, offering accurate information and directions as needed. </li><li>Maintains overall responsibility for all Dropship processing across multiple technologies. At Comfort Research, the pace is fast, the work is anything but boring, and the result is always more Comfort for All.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Must have experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) at some level. </li><li>Experience and success in working in a collaborative, cross-functional team and presenting outputs to a broad range of internal and external customers. </li><li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting, Word for documentation, Outlook, and Teams for communication. </li><li>Familiarity with inventory tools to monitor and track any out-of-stocks to validate order processing capabilities. </li><li>Ability to quickly learn and adapt to software platforms. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders, preparing shipping documents for production, generating BOLs, etc. </li><li>Acute problem-solving skills to troubleshoot order errors, system errors, and various other issues when processing orders. </li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external teams. </li><li>Must have strong critical thinking skills to optimize production capabilities to meet dropship function based on priorities, staffing, and overall demand as provided by plant leadership. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, processes, and requests in an extremely fast-paced environment. </li></ul>
