<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <ul> <li>Operates PC, fax machine, copy machine and other office equipment as necessary. </li><li>Demonstrates proper phone etiquette and utilization of computers, including completion of exam, data entry, charting during procedure and prior to imaging. </li><li>Checks surgery and imaging records for completeness and follows up with appropriate personnel to ensure records are completed. </li><li>Collects and stickers patient charts. </li><li>Greets patient/visitors, check in each patient, and announces their arrival to appropriate area(s). </li><li>Acts as a liaison for patients and their families in the waiting room. </li><li>Communicates appropriately with staff, physicians, and other departments with the ability to prioritize in an environment that is often hectic and subject to frequent interruptions. </li><li>Performs registration functions as needed. Must maintain a high degree of accuracy in collecting patient demographics and insurance information from various sources. </li><li>Escort/transport patients as needed. </li><li>Manages office supply inventory </li><li>High school diploma preferred or high school equivalency. </li><li>Typing ability and basic computer skills. </li><li>One-year administrative experience preferred. </li><li>Medical terminology preferred. </li><li>Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion</p> <p>Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
