INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS & RESUMES RECEIVED IN LIEU OF APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Early childhood staff aides must be at least sixteen (16) years of age and work directly under the supervision of a director or early childhood teacher </li><li>Infant staff aides must be eighteen (18) years of age and work directly under the supervision of a director or early childhood teacher </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions </li><li>Ability to supervise the safety of young students </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job </li><li>Skills in effective oral and written communication </li><li>Must pass various pre-employment background screenings </li><li>Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English </li><li>Must be able to follow directions and work under direct supervision </li><li>Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies and building and department procedures. </li><li>Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator </li><li>Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds desired </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Treats the staff, students, and general public with dignity and respect </li><li>Ensures confidentiality in a professional manner </li><li>Uphold the expectations of Colorado Licensing Rules and Regulations </li><li>Responsible for the students' safety in the school environment </li><li>Respectful and responsible for all equipment and keys used during the workday </li><li>Responsible for all assigned tasks and maintaining an organized workstation </li><li>Follow organized techniques to ensure acceptable standards </li><li>Demonstrates mature and professional conduct at all times </li><li>Collaborates and communicates with parents, students, and faculty. </li><li>Supports and assists the teacher in preparation for classroom activities. </li><li>Supports the teacher in the delivery of the instructional program. </li><li>Participates in opportunities to develop knowledge and skills that support assignments. </li><li>Maintains all necessary documents within areas of responsibility. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Westminster Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
