<p>Purpose/Objective of the Role:</p> <p>Assist the Systems technician with various hands-on duties.</p> <p>Tasks & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Including but not limited to: </li><li>Replacing and repairing wireless hardware </li><li>Telecommunications equipment </li><li>Network device registration </li><li>Digital signage management and installation </li><li>Pulling wired networking cabling to repair or upgrade campus infrastructure </li><li>Covering the help desk </li><li>Supporting the media center with projector installation and configuration </li><li>Answering phones, and responding to email/work requests </li><li>Moderate ladder climbing will be required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to learn new (and old) technology </li><li>Being able to communicate effectively </li><li>Lifting moderately heavy objects </li><li>Familiarity with hand tools (drills, drywall saw etc.) </li><li>Being able to work independently and with a partner </li><li>Working knowledge of Windows,Mac </li><li>Mobile device operating systems (linux experience is a bonus) </li><li>Knowledge of home networking </li><li>Wireless troubleshooting </li><li>Knowledge of gaming consoles/smart devices </li></ul> <p>NOTE: Employment sponsorship is not available for this position.
