This role ensures the effective development implementation of school improvement plans by guiding and supporting Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and individual schools through the PA Cycle of Improvement, ensuring alignment with state and federal requirements, including the facilitation of a root cause analysis to identify underlying causes and leading monthly and quarterly routines as outlined in the school improvement statement of work.</p> <p>The Coordinator of Educational & Instructional Leadership Services position requires close collaboration with the Director of CSI External Partnerships and Facilitator Onboarding, internal CCIU staff/programs, and the statewide CSI team. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring high-quality program execution, monitoring progress, and developing structures that enhance school improvement efforts. The role involves having strong data literacy skills and how to utilize data to drive effective decision-making for designated schools. The role also involves providing coaching and mentoring to principals, instructional coaches, and leadership teams to build capacity for sustainable improvement.</p> <p>The position requires a high degree of knowledge in the areas of human resources, professional learning, educational leadership, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act), evidence-based interventions, educational research, curriculum, instruction, continuous improvement, the roles and responsibilities of LEA and school leaders in schools with CSI federal designation.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Program Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>School Improvement Facilitator for CSI and ATSI LEAs and schools Scope of Work (SoW)</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a consistent school improvement facilitator (SIF) as the point of contact for CSI and ATSI designated schools within Chester County.</p> </li><li> <p>Guide the school(s) throughout the PA Cycle of Improvement (Phases 1-6) and build the capacity of the school leader and school team.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide content support based on the needs identified by the LEA/school in the school improvement and technical assistance plans, as well as future self-assessment data.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in monthly SIF onboarding professional learning sessions scheduled by the Director of CSI External Partnerships and Facilitator Onboarding.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in four quarterly routines facilitated by the PDE Statewide Team to ensure that schools and LEAs receive support described in the SoW.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate the Monthly Implementation monitoring routines and the Quarterly Outcome monitoring routines for each assigned CSI and ATSI school.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide ongoing feedback and modifications to LEAs and schools to ensure plan effectiveness.</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership and Professional Development</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with principals, instructional coaches, and leadership teams to build capacity for sustainable improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Guide school leaders in the use of high-impact leadership practices to foster school climate and instructional excellence.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide coaching and mentoring to strengthen decision-making at the building level.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate professional development for teachers and leaders on effective instructional strategies and data literacy.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote innovation and strategic thinking within school teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with capacity-building initiatives to ensure schools sustain their improvement efforts long-term.</p> </li><li> <p>School and LEA Consultation and Support</p> </li><li> <p>Support training and technical assistance work in the area of PDE initiatives throughout Chester County and at the state level as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with educational leaders and administrators to offer consultative assistance in implementing state and federal school mandates, ensuring compliance, building instructional leaders, and promoting student success.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and continually upgrade professional skills and acquire information in educational reform initiatives related to professional learning, standards, curriculum, educator effectiveness, and assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and facilitate professional learning opportunities for Chester County educational agencies through the lens of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the district in developing expertise among team members to ensure the implementation of evidence-based practices including a process for evaluation and continuous improvement planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide site-based consultation, technical assistance and professional development tailored to meet district requests. Provide follow-up and implementation support as appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Integrate high-quality instructional materials and activities with existing programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop strategies for helping schools translate information generated by state accountability and assessment programs into improved practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with other CCIU staff members to coordinate existing programs and promote cooperative activities and projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with other intermediate units, colleges, universities, and educational agencies to provide quality-training programs, technical assistance, and consultative services to meet assessed needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize, coordinate, and conduct specialized programs such as Act 45 courses, school pilot programs, and action research</p> </li><li> <p>C.
