<p>Job Title: Regulatory Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are hiring a Regulatory Specialist in Chicago, IL. This role involves creating ingredient statements and nutrition fact panels, reviewing and approving raw material and formula compliance through FDA regulations, and providing regulatory guidance on commercialization projects. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure label compliance and regulatory standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Create ingredient statements and nutrition fact panels. </li><li>Review and approve raw material and formula compliance through FDA regulations and standards within PLM. </li><li>Provide ingredient, formula, claim, labeling, and regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams on commercialization projects, including formula renovations, ingredient supply chain continuity, and formula line extensions. </li><li>Work cross-functionally to review label content to ensure regulatory standards. </li><li>Work within SAP PLM to review and approve ingredients, formulas, and graphics. </li><li>Research information and stay abreast of upcoming regulatory changes, and identify and assess regulatory risks in commercialization projects. </li><li>Develop SOPs with related trainings. </li><li>Co-lead third-party certification audits. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>3+ years of experience in a food regulatory position following US FDA and CFR 21 regulations. </li><li>Experience with writing ingredient statements and nutrition fact panels for multi-level ingredients. </li><li>Experience with reviewing ingredients, formulas, and graphics. </li><li>Experience with complex ingredient statements (additives, preservatives, emulsifiers, etc.). </li><li>Experience with reviewing and approving graphic artwork. </li><li>Proficiency in SAP PLM, Dragonfly, and food label review software. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
