<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Custodian performs general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, snow shoveling, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors to maintain the work area in a clean, sanitary condition.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The rate of pay will be $16.67 per hour, plus excellent benefits. This position is eligible for an additional $0.80 for hours worked between 6pm to- 6am, and a weekend differential of $0.80 for hours worked between midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. A 12-month probationary period is required.</p> <p>A $2,000 sign-on bonus applies to those who do not have prior state service in the last five years and must stay with SWC in the position until completing probation. Bonus will be split, $1,00 at hire and $1,000 after completing probation. Employees who do not remain in the position for any reason through the probationary period, must reimburse DHS the sign-on bonus, unless DHS agrees otherwise.</p> <p>Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction.
