<p>Job Description:</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and administer curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives. </li><li>Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and student learning. </li><li>Develops grade-level appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials for students. Then translates lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential activities, challenge students, maintain the target language in class, and best utilize the available time for instruction. </li><li>Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modify instructional methods to fit individual students' needs; conduct individual and small group instruction as needed. </li><li>Comply with all company policies and procedures. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment. </li><li>Specify Certifications </li><li>Familiar with ACTFL World-Readiness Standards </li></ul> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide transportation to meetings, trainings, and professional learning opportunities as required.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Successful teachers require the ability to work in a high energy environment with varying noise levels (from quiet to loud) based on student activity.
