<p>Join UPMC Magee - Pre/Post Op Team! Full-Time RN Opportunity</p> <p>UPMC Magee is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Pre/Post Op unit, where compassion meets precision. They must assess and interpret patient data to identify individualized age-specific needs and deliver care in accordance with department policies and procedures.</p> <p>Core Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience </li><li>Education: BSN preferred; Master's in Nursing or related field may substitute for certification requirements </li><li>Performance: Must attain and maintain "Solid/Strong/Good" or higher on annual performance evaluations </li><li>Professional Contribution: Completion of one approved department/hospital/system contribution annually </li><li>Clinical Competence: </li><li>Critical thinking and leadership skills in applying the nursing process </li><li>Strong judgment, problem-solving, and analytical abilities </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment </li><li>Physical stamina for frequent walking, lifting, and patient positioning </li><li>Interpersonal Skills: Positive, caring relationships with all levels of staff, patients, and families </li></ul> <p>Licensure & Certifications</p> <ul> <li>RN License: Must hold a valid RN license in the state of the facility or a multistate license under the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) </li><li>CPR/BLS: Required within 30 days of hire (must include didactic and hands-on components as per AHA) </li><li>UPMC Certification: Required within 1 year of hire/transfer unless: </li><li>Candidate holds a DNP or Master's in Nursing </li><li>Or holds a BSN and a Master's in a related field </li></ul> <p>?
