This opportunity is onsite, based in Hebron, OH, United States.</p> <p>#LI-Onsite</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>As Plant Maintenance Manager, you will lead daily operations at a client-owned plastics-to-gas processing facility. You will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, safety and environmental compliance, maintenance planning, reporting, and team leadership. This role requires strong technical knowledge of gas processing systems, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to manage both people and performance metrics.</p> <p>Our Clients and Projects</p> <p>Designing the future. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world's most critical challenges.</p> <p>Expected:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of relevant industry experience, including 3-5 years in gas compression or gas processing facilities </li><li>Experience building internal and external relationships with staff and sub-contractors. </li><li>Direct experience operating a gas processing facility </li><li>In-depth understanding of gas processing systems and high H2S gas handling </li><li>Proficient in reading P&IDs and interpreting technical documentation </li><li>Strong personnel management and leadership skills </li><li>Experience with planned maintenance and inventory management </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Authorization to work lawfully in the U.S. without sponsorship from Wood </li></ul> <p>Desirable:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in plastics-to-gas or similar conversion technologies </li><li>Familiarity with environmental compliance reporting systems </li></ul> <p>Typical responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead all maintenance and safety activities related to daily plant operations </li><li>Act as subject matter expert for plant technical systems and gas processing procedures </li><li>Support senior leadership in managing plant P&L, including revenue, cost control, and forecasting </li><li>Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance of plant personnel </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting of KPIs, volumes, and compliance metrics </li><li>Develop and implement operational and safety procedures and best practices </li><li>Lead maintenance and improvement activities across the facility </li><li>Ensure team competence and promote a culture of risk awareness and mitigation </li><li>Serve as primary contact for the plant owner and manage subcontractor relationships </li><li>Support HSSE initiatives, lead incident investigations, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards </li></ul>
