<p>Aqua Finance is seeking an AI & Copilot Development Intern to support the design, testing, and refinement of AI-powered agents using Microsoft Copilot technologies. This internship offers hands-on, project-based experience working with tools such as Copilot Studio, plugins, connectors, and prompt flows while learning how AI solutions are designed to support real business use cases.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to AI agent development projects by assisting in the design and build of AI-powered agents using Microsoft Copilot technologies such as Copilot Studio, plugins, connectors, and prompt flows </li><li>Learn how to define agent behaviors, goals, and conversation flows aligned to real business use cases </li><li>Support prompt engineering projects by creating, testing, and refining prompts, instructions, and grounding data to improve Copilot agent accuracy and usefulness </li><li>Collaborate with technical mentors to understand how Copilot agents integrate with applications, workflows, and backend services </li><li>Participate in testing and validation projects, including functional testing, data validation, and gathering user experience feedback </li><li>Assist with troubleshooting agent behavior by reviewing logs, outputs, and prompt execution paths alongside experienced team members </li><li>Document agent designs, use cases, limitations, and best practices to support future reuse and scaling </li><li>Research new Microsoft Copilot capabilities, agent patterns, and product updates, and share learnings with the team </li><li>Gain hands-on exposure to both low-code and pro-code approaches for extending Copilot functionality </li></ul> <p>Required Education And Experience</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled at a University or College at a minimum of Junior Undergraduate Status </li><li>Pursuing a degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field </li><li>Completion of relevant coursework related to your field of study prior to the start of the internship </li><li>Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Internship will run from mid-May through mid-August </li><li>Ability to commit to 40 hours per week during the internship period </li><li>Availability to participate for at least 9 weeks of the 12-week program </li><li>This is an onsite internship; interns will be required to work at our corporate location in Wausau, WI for the duration of the internship. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on, real-world experience supporting artificial intelligence and automation initiatives in a corporate environment </li><li>Mentorship and professional development through collaboration with experienced AI, technology, and business professionals </li><li>Opportunities to build your professional network by working alongside data, technology, and business teams across the organization </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly uses a computer and may be required to sit, stand, walk, see, communicate, and handle or manipulate objects or controls. The role involves extended periods of working at a computer and may require occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 20 pounds.</p> <p>This is primarily an office-based position with a significant portion of the work performed at a computer.</p>
