The Harmony Healthcare Long Island is a non-profit healthcare organization with 7 health centers, providing primary care and preventative medicine in the following locations in Nassau County: Roosevelt, Elmont, Hempstead, Freeport, Oceanside, and New Cassel/Westbury. In addition, the Harmony Healthcare Long Island has 4 school-based health centers, WIC offices (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) in 3 locations, and a Health Home Care Coordination program. As federally qualified health centers, we serve the individuals in our communities, providing enhanced services, expanded hours and reduced prescription pricing, while raising the level of care. Acts as receptionist. Sources and screens qualified healthcare professionals to meet the organizations business needs. Schedules meetings and interviews as requested; Establishes and maintains accurate and accessible office filing system, tracks required documents. General requirements: Resume review, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Matches and evaluates candidate skills to open positions through screening and interviewing </li><li>Manages recruiting process by posting positions, reviewing resumes and screening candidates, maintaining relationships with candidate referral sources, following up on open positions, </li><li>Utilizes various recruitment tools and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates </li><li>Maintains the Learning Management System </li><li>Input information into HRIS system. </li><li>Assists with various research projects and/or special projects. </li><li>Updates various HR spreadsheets. </li><li>Maintain Confidentiality of files and incidents. </li><li>Schedules interviews and follows up as necessary. </li><li>Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions. </li><li>Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or higher, required </li><li>Experience in healthcare, preferred </li><li>ADP Workforce Now experience preferred </li><li>One year of experience in Human Resources </li></ul> <p>SALARY: $50,000 - $55,000 annually</p> <p>MORE INFORMATION: This is a non-exempt position.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
