They will assist in day-to-day operations of the department as well as directly influence the success of special projects.</p> <p>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Engage with team on a regular basis to conceptualize projects. </li><li>Connect with functions across the HR team to gain a holistic view of how they integrate to create the employee experience. </li><li>Collaborate with departments across the organization </li><li>Leverage data analytics to identify trends, solve problems, and support decision-making processes. </li><li>Assist with a wide range of initiatives. </li><li>Research industry specific trends and projects </li><li>Maintain department files and databases </li><li>Exhibit support for the organization's goals, values, initiatives and cost control. </li><li>Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other compliance requests and requirements. </li><li>Follow all safety and security guidelines to properly safeguard member and organization assets. </li><li>Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. </li><li>Perform other job duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Development Opportunities</p> <ul> <li>Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience and skills that will prepare you for a successful career in HR. Your work will have a direct impact on our HR strategies and initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge, Skill and Ability:</p> <ul> <li>Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or specialty in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field </li><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook). </li><li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as within a team environment. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, time and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and execute multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidences. </li><li>Pre-employment background review (components include criminal, employment, address, social security number, motor vehicle record, global sanctions, and sex offender. </li></ul> <p>Education or Formal Training: For Intern-must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or institution or specialized work program</p> <p>For Current Canvas Employees: To be considered, you must be meeting performance expectations, consistently demonstrating HEART behaviors, and must submit an up-to-date resume or update your Work History profile with your current responsibilities and accomplishments.</p> <p>Education: must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or institution</p> <p>The starting pay rate for this position is $20.00/hour.</p> <p>Anticipated internship dates 6/1/26 thru 8/7/26 (may be subject to change).</p> <p>Applications for this position will be accepted through April 22, 2026. For consideration, applications must be received by 11:59 PM MST on April 22, 2026.</p> <p>Other important information</p> <p>High volume, fast-paced, dynamic office environment with some travel. Must be able to attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours. The job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, fax machines and filing cabinets. The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
