<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Responsible for the preparation and packaging of various asphalt based adhesives with emphasis on producing quality products in line with the ErgonArmor Memphis Standard Operating Procedures.</p> <p>Performs assigned housekeeping and safety duties, such as clean-up of area, daily and monthly inspections, reports any safety concerns to management to ensure a safe work environment and reports maintenance related issues, when necessary,</p> <p>Duties of Job: Duties include but not limited to:</p> <p>Stages packaging containers, fills pails, drums and totes with products on packaging lines to prepare product for shipment.</p> <p>Provide assistance for packaging products in preparation for shipment.</p> <p>Provide assistance in setting up, operating and tending equipment that mixes, blends or processes required ingredients in the manufacture of finished products.</p> <p>Maintains clean work area and promotes safe work habits.</p> <p>Maintains good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates. Works in a participative manner with supervisor and co-workers.</p> <p>Perform other duties as required.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Possess time management skills for reporting to work on time and to meet deadlines.</p> <p>Possess a strong commitment to team environment and exercises personal initiative.</p> <p>Ability to perform work with minimal supervision.</p> <p>Good verbal and written communications.</p> <p>Possess basic mathematics skills.</p> <p>Pass a pre-employment assessment test.</p> <p>Capable of obtaining fork truck certification</p> <p>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.</p> <p>Standing and walking on hard surfaces for long periods of the day</p> <p>Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach</p> <p>Ergon Armor is a division of Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions, Inc.</p> <p>Ergon Asphalt & Emulsion, Inc. produces and distributes various liquid asphalt</p> <p>products to the coatings and roofing industry.
