<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the Lumberton Quality Department as a Quality Technician. Candidates must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift from 7pm to 7am (including every other weekend). The benefit of this schedule is less work days per year and some weekdays off.</p> <p>The main responsibility of this position will be to improve quality performance by working directly with the operators, packers, and all other support departments that impact quality.</p> <p>Activities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Start-up and inspection </li><li>Certificate of Analysis </li><li>Maintenance of quality retains, documentation, and traceability </li><li>Standards for customers </li><li>Maintenance of existing Quality Management System </li><li>Oversee rework and hand-capping processes </li><li>Follow the nonconforming material process for incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished components </li></ul> <p>Knowledge / Skills / Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school degree required. </li><li>One year experience in a manufacturing (quality related), pharmaceutical, or quality position preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of working with calipers and other measuring devices preferred. </li><li>Must be able to follow established company GMPs, hygiene, and safety policies. </li><li>Must be able to work extensive hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as per assigned schedule </li><li>Must be proficient in data entry, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel. </li><li>Must exhibit attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. </li></ul>
