Lehigh County Authority (LCA) in Allentown, PA is hiring Seasonal Workers to support our maintenance, laboratory, and engineering teams!</p> <p>These opportunities run from early May through the end of August and offer meaningful, hands-on work that supports the passionate team that provides high-quality, safe, and reliable water and wastewater services to the Lehigh Valley!</p> <p>What the Job Looks Like</p> <p>Seasonal employees will be assigned to one of the below areas, based on interest, skills, and department needs:</p> <p>Maintenance & Field Support</p> <ul> <li>Outdoor and facility-based work supporting maintenance technicians and field crews </li><li>Projects related to water and wastewater operations including painting and sanding, mowing grass and weed whacking, minor building and facility repairs, assisting with the fire hydrant project </li><li>Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm </li></ul> <p>Laboratory Support</p> <ul> <li>Assisting staff with basic lab-related work </li><li>Supporting day-to-day laboratory operations </li><li>Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm </li></ul> <p>Engineering Support</p> <ul> <li>Filing, scanning, and organizing engineering records </li><li>Providing general office and project support </li><li>Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:15am - 4:45pm </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Our seasonal roles are a great fit for people who are dependable, motivated, and eager to learn!</p> <ul> <li>Age Requirements: LCA employees must be at least 18 years old </li><li>Licensure: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (needed to operate company vehicles) </li><li>Experience: Some prior experience related to the area you're applying is highly desired </li><li>Skills: Must be safety focused, and able to work well independently and as part of a team </li><li>Work Environment: Field roles will work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for long periods.
