<p>We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manager, Sales Development to lead our outbound SDR team and drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth.</p> <p>In this role, you will manage a team of Sales Development Representatives focused on identifying, engaging, and qualifying outbound prospects. You will play a key role in building a high-performance culture, refining outreach strategies, and ensuring your team consistently exceeds pipeline targets. This is a hands-on leadership position where coaching, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration are critical to success.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Team Leadership & Coaching</p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of outbound SDRs to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets. </li><li>Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance check-ins to track progress and provide feedback. </li><li>Foster a positive, accountable, and high-energy team culture. </li></ul> <p>Outbound Sales Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and refine outbound prospecting strategies to increase quality lead generation. </li><li>Monitor and analyze SDR activity metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline performance. </li><li>Ensure team members effectively research and target key accounts using a multi-channel approach (phone, email, social). </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Partner with marketing to align outbound efforts with campaigns and events. </li><li>Work closely with sales leadership to optimize lead handoff processes and improve conversion rates. </li><li>Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback to product and marketing teams. </li></ul> <p>Performance & Process Management</p> <ul> <li>Own SDR reporting and analytics to track activity, productivity, and ROI. </li><li>Drive adoption and best practices for CRM and sales engagement tools. </li><li>Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SDR efficiency and results. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in sales development or inside sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. </li><li>Proven success managing outbound prospecting teams in a B2B SaaS or technology environment. </li><li>Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft). </li><li>Education, learning and development, or tech sales experience a plus. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to inspire high performance. </li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred - equivalent experience will be considered. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Travel may be required. </li><li>Litmos is proud to be a remote-only company with employees based all over the country. </li><li>Flexible work hours may be required to support team members across various time zones. </li></ul> <p>Salary: $90k - 110k base, $135 - 165k OTE</p> <p>Benefits Litmos offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Retirement savings plan (401k) with company match </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Short term & Long-term Disability </li><li>Paid family leave </li><li>Employee assistance programs (EAP) </li></ul>
