<p>Job Title: Test Equipment Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a talented Test Equipment Engineer to design and develop test systems, including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA). This role requires you to develop Test Equipment System Requirements, Design, and Validation Procedures/Reports. You will use various laboratory equipment and automate testing processes, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and work with external vendors and suppliers.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA). </li><li>Develop Test Equipment System Requirements, Design, and Validation Procedures/Reports. </li><li>Use laboratory equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes for automated testing. </li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems to determine root cause and corrective actions. </li><li>Perform and complete SDRLs and other engineering deliverables related to Test Plans, Procedures, and Validation. </li><li>Collaborate with outside vendors and suppliers. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in engineering and test equipment design. </li><li>Proficiency in test procedures and automated testing. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Experience with LabView, C++, and C# programming languages. </li><li>Proficiency in designing test equipment such as Test Consoles and ITA. </li><li>Knowledge in electrical validation and test equipment hardware selection. </li><li>Understanding of data/communication types such as Analog I/O, Digital I/O, IEEE-488, I²C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS-485/422/232, Serial, TCP/IP, J-TAG. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is required. </li><li>Experience in Test Engineering and Test Equipment design for power electronics system testing. </li><li>Experience in electrical schematic generation and EEE parts selection. </li><li>Software proficiency in LT Spice, MS Visio, and MS Office. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $100.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
