<ul> <li>Drive product across multiple projects and development phases ensure engineering solutions are aligned with product objectives </li><li>Direct responsibility for site technical activities including product development, product launch, tooling design, equipment, processes, and manufacturing methods. </li><li>Creates and enforces structured efforts in problem solving, product development, project management, and the establishment of procedures. </li><li>Develops and implements standard Engineering practices and processes. </li><li>Communicates both internally and externally to ensure that projects are running per specifications in terms of product cost and product quality while meeting deadlines. </li><li>Partners with all relevant departments to ensure cross-departmental transparency, buy in, and support to allocate resources effectively and efficiently. </li><li>Interfaces strongly with manufacturing to support existing product lines. </li><li>Support the efforts to generate product quotations, develop test methods, and develop procedures as needed. </li><li>Interacts with customers and vendors to maximize our technological advantage. </li><li>Performs necessary functions to adhere to regulations and standards. </li><li>Responsible for documented completion of training for staff/employees per current company procedures. </li><li>Promotes and ensures compliance w/CGMP, safety standards and lean. </li></ul> <p>Qualificationsarrow_right</p> <ul> <li>BS in Mechanical Engineering or other applicable engineering field is required with added disciplines in business management a plus. </li><li>3+ years experience in managing engineering resources including: tooling, process, project, and design resources. </li><li>2+ years experience in a regulated industry; medical device preferred. </li><li>5+ years experience in engineering in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Previous experience in product design, program management and launching products successfully. </li><li>Working knowledge of silicone injection molding processes </li><li>Solid knowledge of GMP, ISO regulations. </li><li>Strong applied knowledge with Lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies </li><li>Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results. </li><li>Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing packages, and SolidWorks. </li><li>Green Belt certification in Lean or Six Sigma desired. </li><li>Drives team with performance metrics in accordance to business strategies and goals. </li></ul> <p>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
