<p>The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department seeks to broaden and expand our program offerings and hire enthusiastic, hard-working instructors who offer unique programming opportunities to our community. We are currently hiring Group Fitness instructors at Laurel Hills Community Center located at 3808 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh, 27612.</p> <p>Instructs various fitness classes in accordance with their certification(s) and assists with marketing of programs. </p> <p>  Certification in Group Fitness modality</p> <p>  2 years teaching experience fitness classes preferred</p> <p>  Great communication skills</p> <p>  Motivated individual</p> <p>  Applicant must attend all required trainings </p> <p>  Must pass a comprehensive background check and controlled substance test.</p> <p>Positions in this class typically require Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Seeing, Pushing and Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing and Repetitive Motions.  </p> <p>Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</p> <p>Note</p> <p>This job classification description is intended to be generic in nature.
