<p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Problem solves research challenges and model development, as applicable. </li><li>Contribute discrete components of a larger project under the general direction of a senior or principal researcher. </li><li>Prepare complete documentation of research activities for reference purposes, including following applicable data management protocols. </li><li>Analyze, interpret, and document research findings for review. </li><li>Compare actual and expected results and suggest solutions to correct the deviations. </li><li>Evaluate existing research or modeling techniques and recommend improvements to ensure quality and productivity. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of proposals and reports. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Design and execute clinical outcomes studies in transplantation (kidney, pancreas, and related areas). </li><li>Utilize institutional clinical datasets and national databases (e.g., UNOS, SRTR, NSQIP). </li><li>Perform data extraction, cleaning, management, and advanced statistical analysis. </li><li>Collaborate with internal partners (transplant surgery, nephrology, hepatology, anesthesia, biostatistics, epidemiology) and external collaborators at other academic centers and national research groups. </li><li>Coordinate multi-institutional research projects and contribute to collaborative study design. </li><li>Mentor and work closely with residents and medical students on research projects. </li><li>Prepare and submit abstracts to regional and national scientific meetings. </li><li>Lead and contribute to manuscript writing for submission to peer-reviewed journals. </li><li>Participate in IRB submissions, data use agreements, and regulatory compliance. </li><li>Assist in the development and writing of grant applications, including institutional, foundation, and federal funding mechanisms. </li><li>Contribute to identifying novel research questions related to transplant outcomes, quality improvement, equity, and innovation </li></ul> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday - Friday (Daytime Hours)</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>Recruitment Office: Human Resources</p>
