Yes</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Perform comprehensive oral health assessments, including reviewing medical and dental histories, evaluating dental conditions, and screening for oral diseases, such as gum disease and oral cancer. </li><li>Perform professional dental cleanings (prophylaxis) to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth. </li><li>Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpret images to assess dental and bone health. </li><li>Perform periodontal assessments to evaluate the health of the gums and surrounding tissues. </li><li>Educate patients about oral health conditions, dental treatments, and prevention strategies. </li><li>Accurately document dental assessments, treatment plans, and procedures in patient records. </li><li>Adhere to strict infection control protocols, including proper sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Associate's Degree Dental Hygiene required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
