<p>Description</p> <p>Shamrock Roofing and Construction</p> <p>Social Media & Recruiting Coordinator</p> <p>Company: Shamrock Roofing Type: Full-time</p> <p>Location: Overland Park, KS - In-office / hybrid</p> <p>Compensation: $45K-$60K base + performance bonuses tied to qualified applicants and hires</p> <p>Why this role exists</p> <p>We're scaling our roofing sales team and the best closers don't come from Indeed - they come from seeing our brand, our culture, and our top reps' paychecks on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. This role owns that pipeline end-to-end: create the content that pulls applicants in, then screen and move them through the hiring funnel.</p> <p>This is a builder role. You'll have creative control, a real budget, and a direct line to the owner.</p> <p>What you'll actually do</p> <p>Content creation (60% of your time)</p> <ul> <li>Produce 5-10 short-form videos per week across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts </li><li>Capture day-in-the-life footage with our sales reps, install crews, and storm chases </li><li>Write hooks, scripts, and captions that make people want to sell roofing for Shamrock </li><li>Run our employer-brand presence on LinkedIn and Facebook </li><li>Track what's working - views, applicants per video, cost per qualified lead </li></ul> <p>Recruiting funnel (40% of your time)</p> <ul> <li>Respond to inbound applicants within 24 hours </li><li>Run initial 15-minute phone screens against a defined scorecard </li><li>Schedule qualified candidates with the sales manager for ride-alongs and final interviews </li><li>Maintain the applicant tracker (CRM/spreadsheet) so nothing slips </li><li>Follow up with candidates who ghost or stall - recover the ones worth recovering </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Who we're looking for</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Portfolio or active social accounts showing you can produce short-form video that actually performs (don't just say you can - show us) </li><li>Comfortable on camera and behind it </li><li>Strong phone presence and written communication </li><li>Organized enough to run a candidate pipeline without dropping people </li><li>Self-starter - we'll give you direction, not a script for every video </li></ul> <p>Bonus points</p> <ul> <li>Experience in trades, home services, or recruiting </li><li>Basic editing chops in CapCut, Premiere, or similar </li><li>You've hired or screened candidates before </li><li>You've grown a social account from zero </li></ul> <p>Not required</p> <ul> <li>A marketing degree </li><li>Prior roofing knowledge (we'll teach you) </li></ul> <p>What you can expect from us</p> <ul> <li>Honest feedback, fast decisions, no corporate red tape </li><li>Budget for gear, software, and paid promotion </li><li>A team that will actually show up when you want to film them </li><li>Real growth path - this role can become Head of Marketing or Director of Talent as we scale </li></ul> <p>Shamrock Roofing is an equal opportunity employer.
