<p>Summary</p> <p>Job Title: Medical Receptionist / Float</p> <p>Department: Beacon Medical Group (BMG)</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Medical Receptionist/Float provides front-desk support and basic patient care across multiple Beacon Medical Group locations. This role includes greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, processing payments, and supporting clinical workflows. As a float, flexibility and travel to various practice sites are required.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Greet and check in patients; answer phones and manage messages.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule appointments and maintain provider calendars.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify insurance, update patient records, and process payments.</p> </li><li> <p>Support prescription refills, test scheduling, and prior authorizations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with patient flow and clerical tasks as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel to and provide coverage at multiple BMG offices.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</p> </li><li> <p>1+ year of office or medical experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual (Spanish) a plus</p> </li><li> <p>CPR certification (BCLS) required for direct care</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Medical office setting</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible schedule with potential travel between locations</p> </li><li> <p>Physical stamina for front-desk and occasional patient support duties</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Mission</p> <p>Deliver outstanding care, inspire health, and connect with heart.</p>
