<p>Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for completing DDA account reconciliations, researching the root cause of outstanding items and determining the best reconciliation approach for new programs.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.</p> <p>Experience: Three to five years of related accounting experience in a financial institution. An understanding of electronic and card payment processes preferred. Experience with data analysis/reporting using SQL Queries and Tableau preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>A: Job Specific:</p> <ul> <li>Acts as the primary reconciler for cardholder DDA accounts. </li><li>Monitors selected program funding and adjustment accounts to review source of funding and ensure they are sufficiently funded. </li><li>Researches and resolves transactions; creating outstanding items in cardholder reconciliations. </li><li>Reconciles partner respondent suspense GL accounts. </li><li>Serves as a back-up to the other members of the reconciliation team. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong knowledge of the business area that is being supported. </li><li>Self-directed and motivated. </li><li>The ability to manage multiple tasks. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to calculate figures as it relates to accounting processes. </li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills, specifically working with macros. </li><li>Ability to manipulate data for meaningful reporting. </li><li>Ability to learn new languages and technologies. </li><li>Ability to work with SQL and Tableau. </li></ul> <p>Sutton Bank is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
