<p>Primoris is hiring! We are looking to bring on an Unclaimed Property & Cash Receipts Clerk responsible for processing, tracking, and maintaining records related to unclaimed or abandoned property, as well as supporting incoming payment processing, in compliance with state laws and company policies. This role includes reviewing claims, communicating with property owners, posting and reconciling transactions, managing documentation, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date recordkeeping.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive and process unclaimed property claims and documentation </li><li>Receive and process incoming payments from customers </li><li>Verify claimant identity and ownership information </li><li>Verify payment amounts and resolve discrepancies </li><li>Research outstanding or abandoned accounts and property </li><li>Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and mail </li><li>Prepare correspondence and payment documentation </li><li>Prepare daily cash deposits and reconcile receipts </li><li>Enter and update data in property management systems </li><li>Post payments accurately to customer accounts in accounting systems </li><li>Reconcile records and identify discrepancies </li><li>Process checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card payments </li><li>Assist with accounts receivable functions and reporting </li><li>Follow state regulations regarding escheatment and reporting deadlines </li><li>Support month-end closing, audit activities, and other projects </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience working in accounts receivable </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel </li></ul> <p>Company Overview:</p> <p>Primoris Services Corporation is a premier specialty contractor providing critical infrastructure services to the utility, energy, and renewables markets throughout the United States and Canada.
