Apply now to embark on an exciting journey with Lexicon!</p> <p>Lexicon Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance </li><li>HSA with Employer contributions </li><li>Paid Holidays and Vacation </li><li>401k with company match </li><li>Lexicon University </li></ul> <p>Our Lexicon University provides free career development and training, so employees can improve their skills in their chosen field, learn new skills in another area and build a career path that leads to job satisfaction and success for them and their families.</p> <p>Quality Control Inspector - Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Inspects all fabrication jobs to maintain the quality levels of work produced in accordance with applicable codes, standards, contract documents, and company QC procedures. </li><li>Prepares detailed and thorough daily inspection reports. </li><li>Monitor records on all shop welders with their level of certification and monitor daily rod use. </li><li>Assist in setting up, monitor and maintain welding procedures, bolting procedures and painting procedures required for projects. </li><li>Provide feedback on questions related to quality and project requirements from shop employees. </li><li>The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. </li></ul> <p>Quality Control Inspector - Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous fitting and welding experience is required. </li><li>AWS certified welding inspector, ASNT level-II certification, and/or SSPC/NACE certification is desirable. </li><li>5 years of experience in a steel fabrication shop environment. </li><li>Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings and pass an inspector test. </li><li>Must have excellent mathematical skills. </li><li>High School or equivalent degree required. </li></ul> <p>Quality Control Inspector - Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and be able to climb 25 ft. </li><li>Must have ability to bend, stoop, push and pull frequently. </li><li>Requires occasional travel with overnight stays. </li><li>Exposure to temperature fluctuations and loud work environment. </li><li>Overtime and weekend work may be required. </li><li>All of the physical demands listed are essential functions. </li></ul> <p>This position is deemed 'safety sensitive.'?Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Lexicon; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
