<p>Drive efficiency, quality, and innovation. As a Process Engineer at MacLean-Fogg, you'll be responsible for analyzing, improving, and supporting key manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product reliability. You'll work hands-on with equipment, lead troubleshooting efforts, and collaborate across teams to implement engineering-based solutions that reduce waste, improve quality, and increase output.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <ul> <li>Position Type: Full-Time/Salary (Exempt) </li><li>Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000/year (based on skills and experience) </li><li>Work Location: Onsite - Chesterfield, MI </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate current equipment and processes; recommend and implement improvements to boost quality, throughput, and efficiency </li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements to reduce waste and improve performance </li><li>Lead troubleshooting and hands-on support to repair, adjust, or calibrate equipment and minimize downtime </li><li>Analyze process data, document findings, and recommend solutions to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency </li><li>Develop and deliver training on equipment use, procedures, and best practices to production staff </li><li>Apply 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to support projects and drive improvements </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Skills/Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes </li><li>Excellent analytical and root cause problem-solving skills </li><li>Intermediate written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to follow and create technical documentation </li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality </li></ul> <p>Qualifications (Required)</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field </li><li>Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds repeatedly. </li><li>Required to stand for extended periods. </li><li>Must be able to push/pull objects up to 15 pounds. </li><li>Frequent bending and stooping required. </li><li>Must have the dexterity to handle small objects. </li><li>Must be able to work in noisy environments. </li></ul> <p>#ZR</p>
