<p>Carpenter</p> <p>Pearson Center 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 8 hours, 5 days a week</p> <p>Primary Job Function:</p> <p>Under general direction from the Carpenter/General Construction Foreman provides carpentry services to the district.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>General Duties:</p> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective</p> <p>functioning of the work unit</p> <p>Knowledge of:</p> <p>Computer and Software programs within the district</p> <p>Skilled in:</p> <p>Must possess communication skills both written and verbal.</p> <p>Positive Customer Service</p> <p>Ability to:</p> <p>Multitask, stay organized</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or G.E.D. </li><li>Must be a Journeyman Carpenter having completed the appropriate apprenticeship </li><li>training and have at least three (3) years documented experience as a Journeyman </li><li>Must possess valid driver's license and meet Toledo Public Schools vehicle fleet </li><li>insurance criteria and maintain the same </li><li>Must be able to work under extreme conditions including inclement weather, crawl </li><li>spaces, and varying heights of scaffolding </li><li>Must possess communication skills both written and verbal </li><li>Must have knowledge of computers </li><li>Must pass Toledo Public Schools related skills and physical standards testing. </li><li>Specific Job-Related Experience: </li><li>Must be experienced in both finish and rough carpentry. </li><li>Must be skilled in the operation of all related equipment and vehicles. </li><li>Must have own tools at time of appointment. </li></ul>
