<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Century Inspection is currently looking for qualified Level II MT/PT/UTSW Technicians to support our operations in Newton IA.</p> <p>THIS WILL BE NESTED MANUFACTURING FAB SHOP. M-F GUARANTEE 40 HOURS WITH LOTS OF OVERTIME AVAILABLE.</p> <p>$2000 SIGN ON BONUS AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment </li><li>Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection </li><li>Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations </li><li>Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results </li><li>Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators </li><li>Organize and report test results </li><li>Perform specialized inspections </li><li>May instruct and supervise others </li><li>Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Some college preferred </li><li>Certified Level II UTSW, MT, PT </li><li>Technical background in NDT methods and procedures </li><li>Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections </li><li>Knowledge of NDT equipment </li><li>Experience in report writing </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance </li><li>401K Plan </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Paid Time Off </li></ul> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Century Inspection, Inc. is a nondestructive examination contractor, performing, in addition to our pipeline work, inspection of various materials, pumps and generating plants, chemical plants, and related components. #LI-BE1</p>
