Come grow with us!</p> <p>The Accounting Manager will be responsible for analyzing and verifying financial information, performing account reconciliations for certain general ledger accounts, and performing other month-end close activities, primarily for the Corporate entity. The Individual will be working in a fast-paced environment while building relationships within the corporate accounting team, the extended accounting team at operating sites, and throughout the rest of the organization (e.g. FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, etc.).</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assume responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting questions and issues. </li><li>Perform monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, supporting consolidation process, and financial reporting. </li><li>Act as a business partner to other departments to obtain and convey information, including HR/Payroll/Benefits, and FP&A. </li><li>Support and serve as backup to team members for the monthly close of accounts receivable, accounts payable & fixed assets, preparation of payroll files for GL upload and other accounting processes as needed. </li><li>Key contributor in continuous improvement projects. Responsible for actively identifying areas of improvement and recommending action plans. </li><li>Mentor senior and staff accountants </li><li>Assist with technical accounting assessments under US GAAP as needed. </li><li>Other compliance and statutory reporting as required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Accountant with 5+ years of relevant experience, public accounting experience preferred </li><li>CPA, strongly preferred. </li><li>Ability to independently trouble-shoot issues in monthly closing processes and identify and implement controls. </li><li>High level of organizational skills </li><li>Ability to efficiently manage tasks and time. </li><li>Strong Excel skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Detail-oriented - able to review and proofread financial report </li></ul> <p>Salary range: $123,000 - $142,000</p> <p>If you are interested in being part of a world class accounting function here at Alkegen then we would love to hear from you.</p> <p>At Alkegen, we strive every day to help people - ALL PEOPLE - breathe easier, live greener and go further than ever before.
