<p>SUMMARY: The Clean Line Technician I is responsible for performing cleaning processes on various aerospace components. These processes include chemical treatments, abrasive blasting, and hand cleaning techniques to remove contaminants, old coatings, and engine run surface conditions. The Clean Line Technician II works independently with minimal supervision and assists the day-to-day operations of clean line.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Interpret and execute tasks based on verbal instructions, technical documentation, and customer specifications, ensuring compliance with industry cleanliness standards. </li><li>Clean a wide range of aerospace components to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, oil, and old coatings using chemical, mechanical, and manual cleaning methods. </li><li>Perform detailed visual inspections of components to identify surface irregularities, damage, or areas requiring further attention. </li><li>Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, including but not limited to abrasive blasting machines and chemical treatment tanks, ensuring proper use of cleaning solvents and materials. </li><li>Accurately document all work performed, including any defects or irregularities found, ensuring thorough communication with supervisors and the quality assurance team. </li><li>Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines, including coordinating the waste stream to maintain a safe and compliant working environment. </li><li>Assist in general facility maintenance, including equipment upkeep, workspace organization. </li><li>Support day-to-day operations of clean line, including inventory assistance. </li><li>Coordinate with other departments on additional review of technical data as needed. </li><li>Report any operational issues, equipment malfunctions. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Associates or 2 years of related experience in lieu of. </li><li>2 years of relevant experience in the aerospace or a related industry. </li><li>Strong understanding of cleaning processes, chemicals, and safety standards in an MRO or industrial environment. </li><li>Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical documents, such as blueprints, work orders, and safety guidelines. </li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude to work with various tools and equipment. </li><li>Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in repetitive tasks. </li><li>Basic computer skills for data entry and process documentation. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in a clean line, chemical cleaning, or similar role, especially within the aerospace or MRO sectors. </li><li>Certifications in chemical handling, hazardous materials (HAZMAT), or industrial safety training. </li><li>Familiarity with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, Nadcap) and specific cleaning processes for aerospace components. </li></ul> <p>OTHER:</p> <ul> <li>The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing. </li></ul>
