<p>Track Worker / Equipment Operator - Travel Role</p> <p>Location: Based in Mulberry, FL</p> <p>Starting Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour + Per Diem while traveling</p> <p>Join Road & Rail Services and put your heavy equipment skills to work on the tracks.</p> <p>We're hiring a Track Worker/Equipment Operator to join our traveling maintenance crew. This is a travel position based out of Mulberry, FL. When not on the road, you'll be expected to report to the Mulberry site.</p> <p>This job requires hands-on work installing, repairing, and maintaining railroad tracks and right-of-way. We're looking for someone experienced with heavy equipment and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.</p> <p>You'll operate machinery like excavators, backhoes, tampers, and spikers. Duties include replacing ties and rails, cutting and adjusting rail lengths, clearing vegetation, lubricating switch components, and keeping materials organized on-site. Safety meetings and job briefings are part of your daily routine.</p> <p>Heavy equipment experience is required. Railroad track maintenance experience is highly preferred.</p> <p>Must be willing and able to travel frequently and work on your feet in a physical environment. Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver's license.</p> <p>Hourly pay starts at $20.00 with consideration for experience.
