Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.</p> <p>This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection and life safety systems to ensure they comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients' facilities, occupants, and assets. This position will service the Cincinnati / Dayton market.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform inspections and testing on fire protection and life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and suppression systems</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and local and state fire codes</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately document inspection findings, deficiencies, and recommendations in compliance reports</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate inspection results to clients and provide guidance on required corrective actions</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with service technicians and other team members to schedule necessary repairs and maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Stay informed about changes in fire safety regulations, technology, and industry best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties assigned by management</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a minimum of 2 years fire sprinkler and or suppression system experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of fire protection systems required</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in using test equipment including sensitivity test equipment, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound level meters, and communicating devices</p> </li><li> <p>Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work within a team environment</p> </li><li> <p>Solid networking PC skills</p> </li><li> <p>Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site</p> </li><li> <p>Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy</p> </li><li> <p>Must speak English</p> </li><li> <p>Currently have and maintain a clean driving record and valid Driver's License</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits and Perks:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent pay</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, dental, vision</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid life insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Company paid short term disability</p> </li><li> <p>401K with employer match</p> </li><li> <p>Paid vacation and company holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Training and Career Development</p> </li><li> <p>Company vehicle (if job applicable)</p> </li></ul> <p>Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
